Jalangkote is a traditional snack typical of Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
The shape is similar to pastel cake. The difference is that pastel has a thicker skin than jalangkote. Jalangkote is eaten with liquid chili sauce mixed with vinegar and chilies.
